Accomplishments in 2021
Some of the highlights from 2021
Church: Average attendance at Iglesia Senderos de Fe decreased from 40 to 16 due to the pandemic and relocation of members. We were also unable to host pastor’s conferences in 2021.
Donations: Donated a 2007 Mitsubishi SUV to Pastor Abner & Alisson Mejia, missionaries in Honduras that collaborate with us to provide training for church leaders and pastors. Donated baby beds to a non-profit who works with foster families and clothing to an orphanage/refuge for abused women.
Facilities: Performed extensive work in the parsonage, exterior of the chapel, and two missionary houses.
Parsonage: Finished major renovations in the parsonage which included a new roof and roof structure, new concrete floors in the kitchen/dining area, and plumbing.
Chapel/Dorm: With a small team, poured a concrete porch in front of the chapel.
Missionary House 1: Due to extensive root invasion, replaced all plumbing in two bathrooms, laundry room, and kitchen.
Missionary House 2: In an unfinished house that was started in 2000, constructed a new laundry room, added columns for the porch and parking area, and began interior work.
Farming & Grounds: Purchased a New Holland tractor (TL5.100) to bushhog, mow, create fire barriers, plant crops, scoop sand/gravel, and to haul other items.
Special Needs: Provided financial support to the therapy center in Guaimaca for physical therapy personnel and to Maritza Picado who works with special needs children in La Mosquitia. Received used standers, wheelchairs, and walkers for Honduras.
